Oh. My.
Picture day this month was a blast!
These two cuties are so fun.
This was the first time I didn't have a plan for the pictures.
I hadn't pinned any poses on Pinterest or Etsy and I didn't even have a plan
to take pictures on this particular day.
The kids were just so easy and happy one day and I had my camera out so I went for it.
My attempts at taking the pictures alone were pretty just okay.
The sweeties would smile when they saw me, but when my face would disappear
behind the camera to focus and frame the shot, the expression would be lost.
The babies were sweet with no complaints necessarily but
the real fun began when Cliff came home from work.
He jumped right into the fray when he saw that the dining room
had been transformed into a mini studio and he knew exactly what to do!
It was just as much fun for me to watch Cliff as it was for me to watch the babies respond to him.
I was literally giggling with glee.
The babies are looking at Cliff in these pictures as I stood over them firing away.
I could. not. stop.
I chose the top three images as the 5 month "portraits" but the
four outtakes at the bottom are every bit as dear to me as the first three.
Enjoy!
The Outtakes that follow are so dear.
Mr. Muffin grabs his feet as often as he can!
At church this past Sunday I realized that we had forgotten their toys.
I was bummed and whispered to Cliff that I forgot to pack toys.
All we had to do was pop off his socks & Q was entertained for the rest of the sermon!
THIS is classic Quinn. The "amazing open mouth smile"as our niece has named it, is super sweet.
While Cliff was making the babies laugh by tickling them and giving them raspberries
on their tummies, his glasses accidentally fell off.
Cupcake thought this was especially funny so Cliff rolled with it ... love it!
I decided not to crop out my toes in the last two.
Cliff said that he likes looking at the pictures and knowing that the babies
were looking at him and that I was the one taking the pictures.
Mama doesn't often make it in the pictures, so there is a little proof that I was involved!

Augh I just want to squeak those baby thighs! Oh and those poochy bellies. Yes, poochy is a word when it comes to describing baby bellies. I love how Ruby's hair sticks up.
Oh, Betty and Cliff, what precious babies. I love how you keep us up to date on all the happenings. Thanks so much.
These pictures are just ADORABLE. I love the glasses shots. What fun!
Oh, my word, Betty, they are BEAUTIFUL babies! I think they have your beautiful eyes. What a gift that they have such a talented photographer for a mommy.
That last one was from me.
