Although our home of Baranof Island is the size of Rhode Island,
there are only two towns on the island, Sitka & Baranof Warm Springs.
Baranof Warm Springs is on the other side of the island that you typically have to either
fly or boat to and we haven't had the opportunity to visit it yet.
Most of the island is covered in mountainous terrain so the road system is limited.
In Sitka, there are only about 14 miles of road from the north end of town to the south end of town.
For that reason, there aren't too many occasions that we all get in the car together for a car ride.
We take the double stroller out with the babies on most days and that seems to work more easily for us.
Cliff is able to lift both car seats and carry them into places by himself, but I am not
strong enough for that yet, so I typically stick with the stroller so that I can load it up at
home and not have to unload the kids again until we return home.
There has been a bear camped out at at the North end of the road recently so it is popular to drive
the 7 miles to the Starrigavan State Park to see the bear.
We went out for a drive after church on Sunday and although the bear was cool to see,
I much preferred watching the babies in their car seats and
as you'll hear, I had a hard time tearing myself away from them to look
out the window at the bear!
We are just so thankful for the babies and in awe of their every little move.
These videos were taken when the twins were 16 weeks old.

Just too cute. I'm with you. Your two little ones are much more fascinating than any old bear.
