A good gift!

This was one good high school graduation gift!

My three brothers all pitched in to buy me the best phone money could buy 

when I went off to college 18 years ago and it has served us well!!!

It had speed dial buttons, speakerphone 

and the most revolutionary feature was that I could access 

my messages remotely by calling it and dialing in my code (5555). 

The 20' cord was added on later so that I could walk around a little more while I was talking!

It's actually been unplugged and not even working in its spot for over half a year or so.  

We were forced to switch to voicemail! what?!

I had a hard time letting go but today was the day I mustered the courage.

Cliff had me hold my iPhone in one hand and my old faithful phone in the other

 and we both laughed at how the technology has changed over the years. 

 It was so heavy!  

After all these years im still using AT&T and still calling pretty much the same people! 

Some things stay the same!
