To Work With Mom

Notice the sweet baby car seats tucked back in behind my school picture set-up on the left side of this photo.
This week I photographed the students and teachers of a small private school in town.
I've worked with this particular school for the past few years and enjoy working
with the children who are always respectful and helpful.
This year, the session was scheduled so that I could work while Cliff could be home to stay
with the babies, but the night before, the session time changed so I decided to bring the twins with me.
I am sure that I only have a small window to try to do something like this
before the babies are crawling so I went for it.
The whole session took a little less than 2 hours and the babies did so well!

For the first hour the sweet girl pictured above sat and played quietly with
them as they enjoyed their toys and cooed in their car seats.
For the second hour the boy pictured in the tie and vest took good care of them,
also playing and making faces with the babies.
The boy pictured above in the green t-shirt was a great help tearing down my
equipment and loading it back into the car for me at the end.
There was so much going on that the babies were constantly entertained and just adorable!
The kids that came through to have their photos taken all wanted to look at the twins.
The students were very gentle and the babies handled it all really well.
It was just precious and special to get to take my kids to work with me this one time!

It is wonderful that you can shift gears when plans change. I can just imagine all of the students coming in to have their pictures taken and finding the twins. Babies are always a magnet for kids. You've got two magnets!! And they are SO cute. How could anyone resist them. I'm glad that the twins enjoyed their Child to Work day. It's great that the students helped occupy them while you worked. I'm sure the twins enjoyed that. You rock, Betty!

As a former teacher, i love the joy that having the twins with you provided the students and teachers. I can just imagine the dinner conversations in homes that night.
