Sunny Sitka

The weather has a been gorgeous (if not a tad hot) and it has
been really fun to get out with the babies.
We tried the front pack carriers but we were all sweating and half of us were crying before we left the house so we opted for the stroller by the time we actually got out the door.
Today we all went together and we let Rosie off the leash at this little
green space downtown called Totem Square.
Rosie has been doing so much better at staying nearby even when she is off the leash.
The babies stayed awake for the whole walk which was unusual for them.
You'll hear on the video that we put sunscreen on their little legs for the first time as well.
If any of you experienced moms can recommend a sunscreen you like, let me know.
I just used the Coppertone sport that I had in the house.

Its always nice to get to introduce the babies to friends that we see as we walk along.
Yesterday when we were walking we passed one friend (Carol) and after we mentioned
that the babies were so sweet she responded by saying,
"Well they come from sweet stock so that's no surprise."
Wasn't that a nice thing to say?
We also passed Charles & after we told him that Mr. Muffin took a tumble earlier in the day
he assured us that "Babies are still pretty rubbery at this age" and I've thought of
that several times since then as I've tried to awkwardly
pick them up, set them down or hold them both at once.

I love the line about half of you crying before you left the house! I can just see Cliff going "Whaaaaaaaa!" On the sunscreen note, I first used Aveeno baby (spf55) but found that it did not soak in and made for not so great outdoor photos. I'm currently using No-Ad kids spf 50 and I really like it. It's a spray and Lyn likes to have her legs sprayed and I'll just put it on my hand to get her arms and face. It soaks in quick and is not sticky. Glad to hear of your nice weather. In the 100's here and we are so thankful we have central air this year!

This is my favorite sunscreen so far (and we use a lot in colorado!) but I'm excited to try out Jenny's suggestion. I do like a spray! Kelly
