Washington DC Trip


In November, Cliff and I had the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. and it was such a lovely trip!  We spent most of our time with our friends, the Childresses & we also got to see our friends, the Moores.  We got out to see the Washington Monument, the National Museum of the American Indian in the Smithsonian Institution, Mt. Vernon was really fun with Jenny & the kids. We got to go trick or treating in Virginia too.  Jenny I went to the Farmer's Market in Alexandria, Cliff & I went to a fabulous Greek restaurant in Alexandria called Taverna Cretekou.  Cliff attended a Design Build Institute of America Conference.  We both got Swine Flu & delayed our trip home to recover from it, but it was all on points, so in the end, it wasn't a half bad trip.

Hee Hee! This trip was actually in 2009! I was trying to update some of the older posts that I had started and never finished as I am considering making a blog book & I guess I haven't quite figured out how to back date my posts! Sorry for any confusion!
