Love on the Rocks

I was Plan B. My friend, Connie, had intended for someone else to turn these lovely Sitka beach rocks into miniature works of art to grace her daughter's wedding reception tables. As it turned out, their original plan fell through and I was happy to step in and help my friend with her well scrubbed beach rocks. My nieces and I spent the afternoon together writing one word sentiments on these rocks and I couldn't believe how well they turned out! Connie sure had a vision for this project! I like them all. I was especially pleased with the lettering on "Family" but the ones that I couldn't help giggling about were the rocks that said, "Love" and "Marriage." I couldn't help it! I could just picture our favorite GAP advertisement featuring Will Ferrell as Neil Diamond. The funniest line from the ad is, "My first love, Love on the Rocks."
